How can I create an INTERSECT, a MINUS of two subqueries?

Hello, I read about the chapter "working with unions" in the user guide :
http://www.activequerybuilder.com/hs110.html

I'm now using the latest java version (V1.0.11)'s Events Demo. I would like to create an INTERSECT and a MINUS between two subqueries, such as (for example, without very meaningful criteria WHERE):

Select film.film_id
From film where title like 'A%'
INTERSECT / MINUS
Select film.film_id
From film where title like '%A'

However I could not find these operators in EventsDemo, and in the user's guide, INTERSECT operator appears only when 3 tables are selected.

So could you please tell me how can I create this kind of complexe queries?

Thanks.

Intersect and Minus menu items are available for those database servers which have support of respective clauses. What syntax provider you use now?

I used OracleSyntaxProvider in EventDemo.

It was first developped with MySQLSyntaxProvider.

However, event with OracleSyntaxProvider I could not get UNION, INTERSECT clauses, while reading the database schema from a xml.

Event with my own applet developped from a XML based on an Oracle schema, I could not get INTERSECT, MINUS either.

Rosière,

The unions popup menu in the EventsDemo is blocked by ValidatePopupMenu event handler. It's just for demonstration purposes. See queryBuilder1ValidatePopupMenuEventOccurred() function.
