Please expose the devexpress objects

Can you please expose the devexpress controls so they can be customised.

For example, I use alternate row colours for all of my grids but there is no way to turn this option on as I don't have access to the gridcontrol used for the criteria qrid.

Thanks

We have added new property 'CriteriaListControlInitialization' that allows you customize the grid (please download the updated build).
Example:

queryBuilder1.CriteriaListControlInitialization += queryBuilder1_CriteriaListControlInitialization;

...

private void queryBuilder1_CriteriaListControlInitialization(QueryBuilder sender, Control control)
{
if (control is DataGridView) // WinForms grid
{
((DataGridView) control).BackgroundColor = SystemColors.Control;
}
else if (control is GridControl) // DevExpress grid
{
GridControl grid = (GridControl) control;
GridView view = (GridView) grid.DefaultView;
view.OptionsView.EnableAppearanceEvenRow = true;
}
}

Tree controls are available through corresponding QueryBuilder's properties: MetadataTree and QueryStructureTree;
Example:

// WinForms
TreeView tree = (TreeView) queryBuilder1.MetadataTree.getControl();
// DevExpress
TreeList tree = (TreeList) queryBuilder1.MetadataTree.getControl();

Thanks that would be perfect. However I have downloaded what I believe to be the latest build and this event does not exist.

Do you have a web page that lists the latest versions and what they are? Currently I only have a direct download to a zip file and the only way to tell what version it is, is to install it.

What is the recommended way to check for updates. Do you have an email update notication list I can subscribe to that will notify me when an updated build has been posted?

Thanks
DAz

Please try again. The latest version is 1.10.0.187.

To download the query builder you should always use the link from the message with your registration information that was sent to you after the purchase. We can re-send this message to you upon your request in case you've lost it.
