Syntax needed to prompt the user to enter criteria when running a query on an Oracle database

This is the syntax used when using the BxQuery product:
SELECT LAB.hosplab.ACTIVE.ACCDATE Collect_Date, COUNT(LAB.hosplab.ACTIVE.ACORD) Order_Count
FROM LAB.hosplab.ACTIVE
GROUP BY LAB.hosplab.ACTIVE.ACCDATE
HAVING (LAB.hosplab.ACTIVE.ACCDATE BETWEEN %date1% AND %date2%)

Dear Kelly,

Active Query Builder allows to use parameters starting from colon, i.e.
"WHERE Field = :ParamName" This notation is natively supported by Oracle OLE DB providers, so you shouldn't have problems with it.

For other servers we allow usage of unnamed parameters ("WHERE Field = ?") and named parameters starting with @ for MS SQL Server.
