Save Query as View?

I just downloaded FlySpeed, and it looks to be one of the best query tools I've ever tested -- and I've been around the block with query tools ;-).

Just one problem.. It seems to be missing a very simple, and obvious feature:

Being able to save Queries as VIEWS.

This is a fairly basic and important feature of a query tool. Especially since many people create Queries that they save (in the form of views), then use as part of other Queries.

In fact, this feature is so basic -- I'm wondering if I'm missing it? I've searched, but found nothing on the topic.

Thank you for your suggestion.

This feature is not available in the current version. We are going to implement it in one of the next versions.

Has there been any progress on being able to save/load queries to SQL Views?

Thank you!

I fully support your request. Having said that: at least with mySQL, the following works for me:
- create query, test it
- once happy, in the text pane, prepend it with
in front of the "SELECT ..."
- click "execute" and "Connection / Refresh Metadata"

To delete view:
- open new query and type "DROP VIEW foo;"
- execute / refresh metadata
