copying a subquery into a new query

hi,

it would be great to be able to take a selected subquery and save it as a new query (with it selected subqueries)

is is possible to do taht on the paid version?

thanks in advance,

Thank you for your feature request. We'll make such a button in the next version. Hopefully it will be available till the end of this year.

As I think more about this: a related and also quite useful function would be to 'push down' a query. Let's say you have
"SELECT <something very complex>" which took you a while to develop.

Now it would be useful to have a button which would create
"SELECT * FROM (SELECT <something very complex>) Query", which could then be further edited.

(Today, this needs saving the complex query, create a new query and drag the saved query onto the new one.)

Sergey, looking forward to your next version!

... a better name than 'push down' would be 'wrap query' and a suitable place would be in the context menu (right click) of the Query pane, below the 'Add derived table'

Hi Sergey,

thanks for releasing 2.7.15. Is there any hope to get one (or both) of the above proposed functions soon? "End-of-the-year" has passed quite a bit already ...

Please find this button in the toolbar above the Query Builder (the right one) in the newly released minor version.
