SQLEditor1.SQL does not returns the current edited value

I have experimented with Simple OLE DB Demo application (changed the 'Northwind' connection string to a simple test MSAccess database). By manipulating the controls (like a normal user), I have selected some tables, so the query looks like:

Select *
From Hours,

So, just a basic query.

I have added a button; when it is pressed, I try to retrieve the query (as string) and use it in some application related purposes.

The problem is that it seems that I cannot get the currently edited query immediately; it seems to me that there is a delay from the moment the user modified the query and this was updated in the SQLEditor control and the moment when you can obtain the updated query programmaticaly.

Of course, I tried to obtain the query also via QueryBuilderControl1.QueryBuilder.SQL and looked into all properties for the correct SQL query (while debugging) ...

I don't know if this is a limitation of the evaluation version. Or if I'm missing something else here.

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you.

After the user makes some manipulations in the query via the web user inferface, the component sends the user action to the server and the server generates the updated SQL. After that the updated SQL is sent back to the client. Of course, it takes some time to accomplish this process.
