Why hasn't someone from Active Database Software replied?

Dear Trevor,

These days we worked to solve this problem. You may download the updated build now.

I have just tried installing 2.9.6.6 on Windows 8. It seems to install fine but when I launch it, it doesn't do anything. Nothing shows up, no window, no error message, etc. I have tried on 2 different Windows 8 machines and same thing.

Sorry for the inconveniences this cause you. I am trying to investigate the issue on both of my Windows 8 virtualbox PC's but the tool runs fine except one time when I got the error message. I tried to fix this and uploaded the fixed build without changing the version number. If you have some free time please download the tool from web site, install and let me know about results.

Please send me all your bug reports and sign them with your e-mail if possible. This will allow me to request more details if needed.

I found the reason, but it'll take about a week to implement the solution.
